In the Corona Pandemic 2020/2021 Frederic "Freddy" Andrej reached out to his favorite artists, colleagues, arrangers and a group of the best trombonists over the world for a non-profit remote CD recording.
The cd is named after Freddys composition “Home Is Where Your Bone Is” what means, that however this pandemic is affecting our lives and our future, we will always be connected through music, no matter where we are. It shows our love and dedication to our instrument the trombone and music in general. “Connected Bones” was born.
From now on, Connected Bones will function as the name under which further projects, recordings and concerts will be realized.
All the work has paid off! The CD is a worldwide success with great reviews! In addition, she is currently in the top 125 of the US Jazz Charts!
Eirikur is very excited about the Connected Bones promotion package. As arranger on the CD "Home Is Where Your Bone Is" he did a great job. I am so happy that he was involved in my project.
Listen to the interview with Bill Reichenbach as the first interview of a series of interviews about working on this project, how it started, recording in general and many other things.
